I take the first volume as a place holder for the webtoon comic which I binged in its entirety last night lol All the reels of the new TV show adaptation made me watch the show but since it had only a few episodes up, I ended up reading the whole comic. Which was a WILD ride. I laughed, I cried, I screamed, I gasped, I loved the cute cat. It has this whole soap opera vibe where you can't stop because it's just so dramatic and juicy.

Overview:

When Jiwon, a 37-year-old cancer patient, walks in on her husband, Minwhan, and best friend, Sumin, she realizes her whole life has been a lie. What’s worse, she dies a tragic death at the hands of her husband. Would things have been different if she had made different choices? Fortunately for Jiwon, she is given the chance to rewrite her fate when she is reincarnated as her younger self (10 years earlier). This time, she vows to live a happy life. But first comes revenge. Her plan? To marry off her now-former best friend to her lying, cheating husband.

It's taken awhile to get here. We've even had to overcome death. But I don't mind taking the long road. Because I know I'll always end up with you."

This was a graphic novel with 68 chapters, and it was soooo good. It was truly amazing how Jiwon (h) altered both her life's path and the lives of those around her. Jihyeok (H) finally getting the girl he had been dreaming of for a very long time was also adorable. The plot twist was so exciting that I didn't see it coming. Can swooning cause readers to die? Because I think I did and then came back to life. I loved the extra eight chapters that showed their lives after they eventually married. I think that in some novels, these chapters represent the epilogue, and I'm here for it all. Every scene melts my heart and gives me butterflies; it was so sweet, and some of them even made me cry. It's just so heartwarming, and Jiwon and Jihyeok truly deserved their happy ending so much. 💖

I also loved how Minwhan and Sumin got their karma; they really matched each other so perfectly. These two narcissistic people have been nothing but trouble 10 years later and even earlier, so seeing them finally reap what they sow was just a freaking delight.

Overall, this was really, really good and was so worth reading. I loved the revenge plan, main characters, and side characters. Almost everything is likeable except for the villains, but they've still made the plot a bit interesting, so I guess I still should give them credit despite being despicable fictional characters.

Anyway, it was truly an enjoyable read, and I loved it. ❤️

This was sooo good. Although I read this a long time ago, I remember being shocked by the plot twists and the progression of the storyline. It was incredibly riveting and exciting, highly recommend! It was nothing like how I thought it would be, the vibes were so vengeful, devastating and thrilling.

It’s been a while since the last time I binge-read a webtoon! I finished the first volume in one-sitting and I’m super hooked now! What did the author put in this book because why is it so addicting although the plot is hyperbolic and quite cliché?! I like how smart and cool-headed Jiwon is, plus I’m really rooting for her and her new love interest. It’s refreshing to see main characters who don’t show mercy at all towards the evil antagonists. The revenge plot line is fun.

Gracias a la adaptación en kdrama, decidí leer este manhwa porque necesitaba saber qué pasaba realmente y porque habían comentarios que me parecían, tontos.

Luego de haber concluido toda el manhwa, sigo pensando que son comentarios tontos, y que espero ver cómo adaptan todo.

Sobre el manhwa, me gusta la línea general de la historia, es una historia de venganza, justicia, amor y comedia. La protagonista es agradable, y el coprotagonista igual.

Sobre los villanos, ya a mitad de historia, reía nada más porque era la clásica villana mosca muerta de novelas que ví de chica, lo cual es divertido a veces y repetitivo a ratos.

Aún así disfruté viendo cómo todos pagaban por sus consecuencias.

I love this series! It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! If we ever get this series physically in English, I would be tempted to pick it up because of how much I enjoyed this series! I am also planning on watching the live action k-drama tv show!

I originally read this on the webtoons app and lemme just say it's been a long while since a manhwa (Korean comic book) has made me cry and super invested in the storyline. Very satisfying ending I strongly recommend this webtoon to those who love romance and drama.

I devoured all 60 chapters in two days. A delightful tale unfolds, weaving the threads of second chances, deserving redemption, and the invaluable presence of kindred spirits. I'm back on my webtoon wave 🏄🏿‍♀️

Povestea se deschide cu imaginea lui Jiwon încercând să îl contacteze pe soțul ei, din camera unui spital din Seul. La doar 37 de ani, femeia se luptă cu o formă de cancer destul de agresivă, doctorii dându-i verdicte sumbre. Și mai trist este că atât soțul ei, cât și singura ei prietenă apropiată o abandonează și plănuiesc să îi fure întreaga avere după ce moare. După ce află că aceștia au o aventură împreună, Jiwon îi confruntă și este ucisă accidental de soțul ei.

— Jiwon, îmi poți face o promisiune?
— O promisiune?
— Da, apoi tati îți va oferi un cadou. Promite-mi că vei duce o viață fericită.

Grație unei întorsături ciudate de situație, femeia călătorește înapoi în timp, unde are posibilitatea de a-și schimba complet viața. Așa cum se întâmplă adesea în astfel de povești, Jiwon își păstrează cunoștințele despre viitor și profită din plin de acestea pentru a se răzbuna și a-și găsi fericirea.

💍 Nu totul este ceea ce pare a fi. Povestea ne arată cum deși credem că îi cunoaștem pe cei apropiați nouă destul de bine, lucrurile nu stau chiar așa. Un exemplu grăitor sunt chiar cei doi antagoniști, Minhwan și Sumin, primul păstrând aparența unui iubit atent și drăgăstos, iar cea din urmă fiind, de fapt, o persoană invidioasă care îi pune mereu bețe în roare „prietenei” sale.

💍 Dacă ai putea călători în timp, ce ai face? Este interesant cum oamenii se agață de trecut și suferință, iar primul gând pe care îl au într-o astfel de situație este răzbunarea. Ce m-a bucurat însă a fost faptul că Jiwon a încercat să se descotorosească de un trecut dureros și de a-și căuta fericirea. Răzbunarea ei doar s-a integrat frumos în peisaj.

💍 Fericirea vine în doze mici. Sau, a doua variantă: ori o primești pe toată o dată, apoi suferi neîncetat. Într-un fel, e la fel ca și cu norocul: ori îl ai, ori ba. Partea cea mai amuzantă este că atât fericirea cât și norocul par că merg mână în mână, iar Jiwon profită din plin de acest lucru. După ce testează câteva teorii cu privire la echilibrul din univers și cum sunt amestecate firele destinului, femeia își construiește o strategie interesantă: îi „fură norocul” lui Minhwan și le schimbă viața într-un mod pozitiv persoanelor pe care le apreciază.

💍 Dragostea nu cunoaște limite. Nu doar tatăl ei, decedat deja de câțiva ani, dar și Yu Jihyuk călătoresc în timp și spațiu pentru a o ajuta pe femeia pe care o iubesc. Sunt ilustrate atât dragostea părintească, cât și iubirea romantică. Pe de altă parte vedem cum arată și lipsa iubirii părintești și care sunt consecințele pe care aceasta le are asupra unui suflet turbulent.

💍 Ilustrațiile sunt uimitoare. Culorile sunt armonioase, iar personajele sunt plăcute la privire. Atenția la detalii și modul în care fiecare linie a fost trasată nu fac decât să îl atragă pe cititor și mai mult.

Oh, the revelation of this manhwa hit me like a thunderbolt, and I can't help but wonder why it took me so long to stumble upon it. Goodness gracious, what a dark, intricate, and utterly immersive narrative! I found myself completely consumed by the desire to devour more of its pages.

The story unfolds around a woman who, having been murdered after witnessing her husband's affair with her supposed best friend, is granted a peculiar chance to rewind a whole decade and embark on a second life. The narrative is painted from the perspective of Jiwon, an ordinary woman burdened by an incompetent husband, neglectful in-laws, and the daily grind at U&K Food’s Marketing Team 1. To add to her struggles, she becomes a young cancer patient. The husband in question, Min-hwan, was Jiwon's spouse prior to her extraordinary return and holds the position of assistant manager at U&K Food's Marketing Team 1. Sumin, Jiwon's purported best friend, is a member of the same team and is involved in the illicit affair with Min-hwan.

Sumin, oh Sumin, perhaps the most infuriatingly real yet fake character I've encountered in literature. She plays the sweetness card to perfection, obscuring her true cunning and manipulative nature. It's maddening how others fall for her facade, allowing her to escape scrutiny. My irritation reaches new heights with her, making Jiwon’s revenge narrative all the more satisfying.

And then there's the mysterious element involving the marketing manager of U&K Food, Jihyuk, who becomes Kang Ji-won's crucial ally in her quest for vengeance. His unrequited love for her adds a layer of complexity, and it's evident that he harbors secrets of his own, secrets that I am eagerly anticipating unfolding.

This drama captivated me right from the start, weaving a spell that refused to loosen its grip. The intricate web of relationships, the mystique surrounding the characters, and the promise of untold secrets make this manhwa a thrilling journey that I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of.

This is the best manhwa I’ve read aside from the Save Me BTS manhwa. The art is lovely and the story is great! It gets compared to Perfect Marriage Revenge a lot, but I prefer this story. The characters just seem more fleshed out to me.

The show is keeping pretty close to this, but there were some changes that made Jiwon a lot stronger and self sufficient in the manhwa vs the show. I think some changes were made to pad out the tv episode runtimes.

Idk how many episodes would be included here, so I’m just calling it 1-15.

I read this manhwa last year and it was soooo good. It was my first time reading a manhwa and I absolutely loved it.

Started this because I wanted to read it before watching the drama. It was actually really good and satisfying.

Dans ce webtoon on retrouve Jiwon qui veut se venger de son mari et de sa soi-disant meilleure amie, après un malheureux événement elle fait un bond de dix ans dans le passé. Lorsqu’elle prend conscience que tout est bien réel elle décide de faire le ménage et d’éviter de reproduire certaines choses qui lui ont causé du tord.

J’ai adoré notre protagoniste, 𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞 𝐚̀ 𝐥’𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜̧𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞́𝐟𝐥𝐞́𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞 𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜̧𝐚 𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐞́ 𝐞𝐭 𝐥𝐚 𝐭𝐞̂𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐞. J’ai eu envie de la serrer dans mes bras dès le début mais j’ai été fière d’elle à de nombreuses reprises.

Es súper rápido de leer, aunque admito que los últimos capítulos rozan mucho lo empalagoso, pero es muy bonito.

really interesting at first and it had so much potential but it started to get boring after a while?? like they fix a problem and then right after it comes a new one and it just felt forced so that the plot still goes on?? idk, the ending was also kinda boring

Gone Girl who? This is the best revenge story I've read.
It has all the makings of a perfect kdrama, so I'm hoping they do the drama (and the romance) justice.
Pang (and Jihyeok) for the win!
