This quirk allows her to grant the power to release sleep-inducing fragrances from her body, which can easily lull an enemy to unconsciousness. This type of quirk allows Midnight to stop her opponents in their tracks without the use of force. Once the fragrance is inhaled by an opponent, it affects the central nervous system and puts them into a deep state of sleep. This is a non-lethal method of subduing a villain and minimal harm is inflicted on her opponent.

She was willing to put her life on the line to save her peers and her students during the Paranormal Liberation War. Just like how All Might believed in his students, Midnight also believed that her students had the ability to defeat their enemies, telling them that they all have what it takes to become powerful heroes in the future and to overcome their fears. Before her death, she believed in her students, and she told them to rely on their judgment in stopping Gigantomachia.
The death of Midnight in the My Hero Academia series took fans by shock and surprise, leaving them with a hint of sadness as the once so energetic heroine is no longer part of the plot. This highlights the life-threatening situations both heroes and villains are faced with and death is a realistic consequence that arises in the pursuit of justice.
