The next Tera Raid event is Valentine-themed; from February 12 to February 15, Luvdiscs with Fairy Tera types will show up, and their raids give extra EXP Candies and Rare Candies.

I don't think it's a particularly remarkable event, but it does fit Valentine's Day quite well.

Based on the usual schedule, we know the next raid won't be an Unrivaled one anyway.

The schedule is always Unrivaled -> non-Unrivaled -> Unrivaled -> non-Unrivaled.

They never have two Unrivaled in a row, iirc.

The next Smash Ultimate spirit event is focused on this game with the starters, the boxart legendaries, Ogerpon, and Terpagos being featured.

I caught a shiny Frigibax recently; it's a great way to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.

I have yet to find any shiny Pokemon.

Well you have to be very lucky or actively hunting them down.

Pro tip outbreaks are great for finding Shinies.

I've found a handful of shinies while just wandering around the overworld, including the first shiny I found in the game (a Tarountula).

Once you're able to start getting Herba Mysticas, you can also start making sandwiches that can boost shiny odds (a comprehensive list of said sandwiches can be found here). They don't boost them by a whole lot (IIRC the most shinies I've found off an Herba sandwich has been two; both were Salandit...that were both male 😅), but they do make it a little bit easier to find a shiny.

I started a new game on Scarlet and was surprised to find a blue Psyduck when I was just exploring after beaten the grass gym leader.

For me I been cashing out on getting shines in this game as I have four boxes full plus more.

Most of the Pokemon I have (not just for Pokemon Violet but also for the other games I have as well as Pokemon HOME) are shiny. It's kind of irritating for me when the Pokemon in question can't be shiny due to being shiny-locked. (Looking at you, Terapagos.)

Shiny Locks are Game Freak’s way of telling people to put the game down and go outside.

We still don't have shiny Hoopa after all these years.

I even made a Pokemon GO account just in case his community day would give us the shiny. But no luck so far.

Not sure why, the gameplay cycle is more than enough for that.

I don't think I've found a shiny Pokemon since leaf green.

My shinies from walk around are counterfeit Sinistea and Girafarig and female Oinkologne. I also hatched a shiny Froakie. The rest are from trades (and some have obvious genned names like rioluhq.net) But a few are legit like shiny Duraludon. I love shinies.

I randomly got a shiny Marill during the Flabebe event outbreak and of course the double feature of Dodonzo and Dratini while tryign to get Red Lobster Sizzler Clauncehr.

This is on top of the shinies I had gotten from earlier in the game, earlier games and trade sin HOME (surprisingly a lack of URL named ones there)

Hey can you lot give me some encouragement I'm trying to hatch a shiny honedge with the masuda method in ultra sun but having no luck so far.
